A four-decade healing school's site, built to guide students from curiosity to professional training.
The Barbara Brennan School of Healing has trained energy healing practitioners worldwide for over 40 years, rooted in the Human Energy Field work of founder Barbara Brennan, a former NASA physicist. The site needed to guide visitors from free introductory practices through short courses to full professional certification.
The Challenge
BBSH offers a genuinely deep pathway — free energy practices, short courses, live events, and a multi-year professional training program — that needed to feel approachable at every entry point rather than gatekept. The site also needed a student portal, an international practitioner directory, an online store, and multilingual support for a truly global student body, all without losing the reverence the school’s four-decade legacy deserves.
The Approach
PowerUp, in collaboration with design partner Ruzer Design, built the site around a clear pathway — free resources and events up top, courses and programs in the middle, professional training as the deepest commitment — so a first-time visitor and a prospective student land in the right place. A find-a-practitioner directory, student portal, and store were integrated directly, alongside multilingual support for BBSH’s international community.
